- Image Compression: The value of this setting is only used on images that must be modified because either their color space and/or their current compression type is not pdf/x compliant. Images already having a valid color space and a different but pdf/x compliant compression type will not be converted to use this compression type.

Options - Additional Preflight conversion settings
- Show information dialog: whether to show a dialog explaining how the below options will be handled before starting the conversion
- Enable saving to original file: Once modified, PDF Studio clears the PDF/A tag from the document. This option enables the "Save" button which allows the original file to be overwritten with no tag. Otherwise only "Save As" will be enabled to prevent overwriting the original document without the PDF/A tags.
- Retain PDF/A format on Save or Save As:O nce modified, PDF Studio clears the PDF/A tag from the document. When this option is enabled PDF Studio will attempt to reconvert the document back to the same PDF/A tag version (if supported).
