Opening Attached File
Files attached to PDFs can easily be opened. Depending on how the file
is attached use one of the two methods below to open the file.
Note:
jPDFEditor
simply sends the file to your operating
system for opening. If your operating system doesn't recognize the type
of file or doesn't have the appropriate application to open the file,
nothing will happen.
Embedded Files
- If the file is attached as an embedded file, go to the attachments
tab where the list of attached files is displayed, and double-click
on the attached file. You can also right-click (Mac: Ctrl+Click) on
the attached file and choose Open File.
Files Attached as Comment
- If the file is attached as a comment, double-click on the file
attachment comment on the page. You can also right-click (Mac: Ctrl+Click)
on the file attachment comment and choose Open File. Â You can
also open the file from the attachments tab as you would embedded
files.
