The Import Form Fields node is used to import form data into a PDF document. When the source is a form data file (.fdf, xfdf, or .xdp) it will be imported into a local PDF. When the source is a PDF a local form data file will be imported into the source PDF.
Import: Form data can be imported one of 2 ways:
File - Sets the source file type for the form data import. When the source is a form data file (.fdf, xfdf, or .xdp) it will be imported into a local PDF. When the source is a PDF a local form data file will be imported into the source PDF.
Note: This directory is local to where the server is running not the PAS Manager and so the file path must follow the format set by the OS of the server.
Comments can be imported using the following formats
FDF: File format created by Adobe that is supported by most PDF applications
XFDF: Extended FDF file format created by Adobe that is supported by most PDF applications
XDP: An XML Data package created by Adobe that is supported by most PDF applications
