Import Annotations

The Import Annotations tab is used to import annotations into a PDF. After the annotations have been imported, there are options for routing of the output file. The tab has the following sections:

Import Annotations

Annotations File - The full path to the annotations file used to import to the PDFs on the server. Accepted formats are .fdf & .xfdf

Note: This directory is local to where the server is running not the PAS Manager and so the file path must follow the format set by the OS of the server.

Flatten Annotations

Paint Non Printable Annotations - Check this box to paint non-printable annotations in the output flattened PDF document. Non-printable annotations are those with the "Printable" flag set to false or visibility set to "Show/Do not Print".

Note: There are specific types of annotations that will never be flattened:

 

Output Routing Options

This section determines what happens once the PDF document has successfully been processed. If the processing fails for any reason the document will instead rout the document using the settings set in the Trouble Handling tab.

Print the PDF Document  

Change the Output File Name

Save the Output File to a Folder

FTP the Output File

E-Mail the Output File
